Adult Groups
We welcome pre-booked Groups (min 20 people) to Riverhill either to view the Gardens or to enjoy a guided tour of the House (adults only) or a combination of the two.
The oldest part of the house is built from Kentish ragstone and dates from 1710. There have been subsequent additions up to 1900. The main rooms are oak panelled. The house contains the accumulated possessions of the family from their most famous ancestor, John Rogers the Martyr who died in 1555, to the present day.
Delicious light lunches or teas can be arranged either in our cafe or, for larger groups, in the 'Garden Room'.
As well as welcoming groups interested history and horticulture, we have regular visits from specialist interest groups such as classic car societies and photography and art groups. Our newly re-furbished 'Garden Room' is also available for meetings and social gatherings.
Pre-booked Group Prices (min 20 adults)
