WORKSHOP PROGRAMME FOR THE EVA ART & CRAFT SHOW
All Workshops are very kindly run by the Eden Valley Artists. There is no additional charge, after our usual Garden entry fee.
The programme is all DROP-IN and join-in. Please meet in the Garden Room for everything, except for the Rock Garden Tours, please meet Jonathan in his lair for these (The Rock Garden!).
Fri 8th Throughout the day, Demonstration: Ink & Stone - Demonstrating the brushstrokes of the orchid and chrysanthemum in Japanese Sumi-painting. Carol will be painting in the Garden Room and happy to answer questions on materials and technique.
Fri 8th @ 11am and 2pm, Tour: Explore the Rock Garden - Find out about this magical ferny place with our fern man, Jonathan! MEET AT ROCK GARDEN
Sat 9th @ 10am and 11:30am, Workshop: Mindful Looking - Join artist Dan Huckfield for a mindful moment! Mindful looking allows you to slow down and take more in. We will be using a piece in the exhibition to explore the mindfulness technique and share our thoughts afterwards.
Sun 10th @ 2.30pm, Workshop: Have a Go at Silk Painting - Try your hand with expert Elitta Fell.
Weds 13th @ 10.15am, Workshop: Sketching in Plein Air - A chance to draw in this beautiful location. Landscape painter, Helene Brett will be on hand, for advice and to help you as you work.
Weds 13th @ 2.30pm, Workshop: Have a Go at Silk Painting - Try your hand with expert Elitta Fell.
