National Garden Scheme Charity Open Day - Tuesday opening!

We always have two days in our season when all our entrance takings are donated to the National Garden Scheme. Join us today and help to support an excellent cause whilst having an excellent day out!

JOIN US ON AN EXTRA SPECIAL TUESDAY WHEN THE GARDENS ARE NOT USUALLY OPEN. Our Bluebell Festival is on and the chestnut woods will be carpeted in blue, it really is one of the highlights of our season and a great time to visit, whilst supporting a very worthy cause. Our bluebell inspired craft fair will also be open, as will our wonderful Cafe.

Find out more about the Bluebell Festival here.

The amazing charity started in the 1900’s and began by supporting district nurses. Today they have donated £58 million pounds so far to health and nursing charities, making an annual donation of £3 million last year. Their core beneficiaries include Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK and the Queen’s Nursing Institute.
