We always have two days in our season when all our entrance takings are donated to the National Garden Scheme. Join us today and help to support an excellent cause whilst having an excellent day out!
We have a fun, creative programme of drop-in events running throughout the season. All these events are included in your entry price.
We also have outdoor theatre performances in our Walled Garden as well as our adult craft workshops and yoga. There is a charge for these and you need to book in advance.

There will be tours of the Rock Garden, talks about ferns, for all ages, plus fern themed craft activities, fern sales and fern i-d’s.

Anything goes on week 2! Literally….Design your vehicle and then create it using upcycled materials. When you are done you can put them through their paces.

Week 3….We are thinking (And building) BIG! How tall can you make your tower? What materials will you use to keep it stable? Maybe you would prefer to start a town?

Matchbox mania has come to Riverhill for our final week of Summer; Is it a bed for a bear or a box for a book? A jolly little house or a cosy wee nook?
Using fabric scraps, buttons and bits and bobs we are making colourful and creative flowers this week in the tipi. All welcome!
Let’s try something different - We reckon that some cardboard tubes, lolly sticks, wool and beads can create a very cool puppet. Excited to see what you come up with!

It is the last week of the hols and we couldn’t have a whole Himalayan summer without including this guy!
